Senior Thesis: OBDLG Scale Trainer

During my senior year of college, my classmates and I were tasked to create a new product for our senior thesis, with our design and research being centered around our own generation, Gen-Z. My main interest was in footwear and I had to focus on what Gen-Z was interested in. During my research I came realized that this group of young people prioritizes individuality and mindfulness. With those in mind, I did much of my research in the space of materials and sustainability. My question then became; How can we design a sneaker that speaks to the search for uniqueness and individualism in Gen-Z while also having resourceful material choices?
